Ineffective treatment and quick fixes ignore the whole body.  Traditional treatment tends to look at the isolated region of your pain or one piece of the puzzle. 

But it's more than that.

The body is a kinetic chain and is only as strong as it's weakest link.  The weak link can be in another region of your body that is independent of your painful area.  I find these complicating factors.

To try and figure out what is going on, you need to start from a whole body approach first, rather than going directly to your site of pain.

I look at how your body moves through functional movement patterns first.  "Poor movement can exist anywhere in your body.  Poor movement patterns can only exist in your brain"

A FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT PROVIDES A ROAD MAP

 

A functional movement assessment identifies any weak links affecting your overall function.  It provides a road map that uncovers impairments in one part of your body that maybe contributing to your painful region. 

It will drill down to the root cause of your problem and give you a more accurate diagnosis so that your get the right treatment.
